- Read a novel and write a short review.
- Read a short story and write an alternative ending.
- Find several articles about the same subject (in different news papers) and compare them (did they share the same facts, were they objective/subjective, was their main focus sensation or objective information ...).
- Read an article on a newspaper website (e.g. via Facebook) and post a comment in the discussion section.
- Read English poetry and write down your findings.
- Read English poetry and try to analyse the poem(s).
- Read a manual in English and try to explain what you have to do in your own words.
- Read an English bedtime story to your brother, sister, grandparent, niece, nephew and record this moment on video. You might have to explain to this person (in Dutch) what the story was about afterwards.

- Make a serious phone call to an English company and film yourself while doing this. Put your phone on speaker so I can hear the person on the other line as well! Prepare yourself for this phone call so you can ask enough interesting questions.
